Two massive games, with razor tight spreads.
Not only do both games this weekend have lines set under a field goal, but every team is damn near the same odds to take home the Lombardi. There is no true favorite.

Unfortunately our hot streak came to an end. 1-0 last Saturday, and 0-2 on Sunday. It was one hell of a 12-1 run.
We keep pumping the website - TheDegenerateWeekly.com - because there are simply too many things that might come to us before kickoff (and a massive Saturday slate of College Hoops). With only two games left, we’re getting a little cheeky with our three best bets.
Cherish this Sunday - it’s the last full day of football for a long time.
Season Record:
NFL: 63-53-5 (+6.18 Units)
CFB: 73-51 (+12.26 Units)
49ers @ Eagles - 2.5 Total 46.5 (Brandon’s Best Bet)
Alright, let’s just get ahead of it. I love Kyle Shanahan. You might not find a bigger Shanahan slurper on Twitter than @thedegenweekly. In my opinion, there is no brighter offensive mind in football. People think Jimmy G is a good quarterback, when in all actuality he’s a “fine” quarterback. Did you know that Jimmy G was the most accurate passer in attempts under 10 yards, and second to last in attempts over 20 (only Drew Lock was worse)? Of course not. The fact that the Niners made (and almost won) the Super Bowl with a Jimmy G led team is remarkable. Then they almost did it again. Now…they’re almost doing it again, this time with Brock Purdy - the LAST pick in the NFL Draft last year.
Overall, this is a great final four. I truly feel like the best teams made it. Combined, they’re 35-2 since November. There are plenty of storylines headed into this weekend, but the one I keep hearing the most is how will Mr. Irrelevant, Brock Purdy, play in what is arguably the toughest environment in the NFL.

I know Philly fans are nuts. I know the environment is going to be tough, not just for a rookie quarterback, but for any quarterback. Look at what happened to the one week messiah Danny Jones (wasn’t good). But I don’t care about the crowd noise, or the mean things Eagles are going to say to Brock Purdy. You know what I care about? I care about KYLE FUCKING SHANAHAN.
If you’re wondering what side and total we like in this game, it’s the Niners +2.5 and the over 46.5. The Eagles are getting HAMMERED with bets and money, yet they opened -2 and only moved to -2.5. I think it’s very telling that the books don’t want to give a full 3 points with SF. Now, if that line does go to 3 by Sunday, then perhaps my mind will change. But regardless, I like there to be points, and I do think the Niners offense will find success.
San Fran just put up 19 measly points at home against the Cowboys. I think it’s interesting that now their Team Total is set at 22.5 on the road, and against an Eagles defense that people are saying is better than Dallas. Hmmm…HMMM, I say.
Give me Shanahan or give me death.
The Pick: 49ers Team Total Over 22.5 (-105)
Bengals @ Chiefs -1 Total 48 (Greg’s Best Bet)
Maybe this one is a little too cute. Maybe I’m letting my football brain get the best of me. Either way - I don’t care. It’s the playoffs baby! Not everything can be about line movement and splits. Both of these teams know how to end the week with a perfect game plan, and in one of the biggest games of the year, I’m betting on them to know how to execute. I don’t think it’s too far fetched to see the Chiefs and the Bengals open up their first drives with a TD, or at the very least a field goal.
The Bengals 2H defense is simply too lights out to take the full game over. So let’s try to start the game with a quick winner.
The Pick: 1 Half Over 23.5 (-105)
Bengals @ Chiefs -1 Total 48 (Jake’s Best Bet)
One thing we can all agree on: there isn’t a more famous right ankle on planet earth than Patrick Mahomes’.
Everyone is obsessing over it. It’s literally to the point where if this guy stepped on a LEGO the line would move three points. We faded Joe Burrow in the Wildcard Round and it worked out, we faded Joe Burrow in the Divisional Round and it missed by a mile. Rubber match is on deck. The crazy thing is that we actually love this guy. I mean, have you seen this video? How could you. not…

So crisp. So clean. So smooth. So Brrr. Okay okay, we’ll stop drooling and look at the splits. Everyone is on Cincinnati. Burrow is 3-0 against Mahomes. But this “Burrow-head” Stadium nonsense is where we draw the line.
For the last time this year…we’re fading Joe.
