We’re just two guys who’ve spent many years betting like chumps, and now we are passionate about helping others to avoid being one.
Recap: Absolutely crushed it last week, going 7-1; sprinkling a juicy Eagles ML as the Sunday night cherry on top. Our only miss was fins +6 but we still feel this was the right bet. Don’t get used to it.
The big takeaways from last week are 1pm games still going over at an insanely high rate, yet both prime time game unders cashed. You had to have mega balls to go under with Packers/Falcons so props to anyone who did.
Last week was the good, but this week has potential to be the bad AND the ugly. Tread lightly!
A necessary change and a favorite trend - Jags @ Texans -6 Total 54
Fireworks in Houston. The Texans finally fired BoB after an 0-4 (record and ATS) start. We absolutely LOVE betting a team fresh off a coaching change. Doesn’t matter the sport. It’s like middle school when a substitute teacher shows up…what happens? You have some fucking fun.

Pigs get fed, hogs get slaughtered - Eagles @ Steelers -7 Total 44
Hitting the Eagles ML last week felt damn good, but now is not the time to double down. Most bettors are probably going to get cute and take the Eagles with the points again. Not us. This line is a bit too high for our liking. Steelers are well rested and win an ugly one here. The decimated Philly O-line and Carson are in for a long day against a stout defensive front in the burgh.

Teaser Buster - Bengals @ Ravens – 13
Just as we (Brandon) predicted Burrow getting his first W last week, we anticipate the Bengals to crash HARD in Baltimore. Bettors are starting to cozy up to the Bengals, which is when you should fade them. They lost to the Chargers and Browns by a combined 8 points, tied the Eagles and just beat the Jags. A respectable first 4 weeks of football. On the flip side, you’ve got the Ravens who just allowed the Redskins to cover a two touchdown spread, and Lamar is rumored to be nursing a sore knee. Vegas is baiting you to tease the fuck out of the Bengals and getting it to 20.5. Don’t do it – Ravens roll.

The wolf in sheep’s clothing - Vikings @ Seahawks -7 Total 57.5
Take a brief walk with us down make believe lane. It’s 7:30pm on Sunday night. You are either riding high off a successful day, or you are decimated from a bloodbath of a Sunday afternoon. You see Seahawks and Russell Wilson laying a measly 7 points against the 1-3 Vikes. Immediately you recognize this as the spot to double your profits, or to erase your losses. Everyone.. and we literally mean EVERYONE is getting a ticket on the Russ bus this weekend. All we ask is you stop and assess the situation - Vegas knows more than all of us. This is very hard to stomach…but we are fading the Seahawks. Not only that, but we are doing it when they play Fitz and Kirk Cousins. These types of bets are what separates the men and the boys. Buy 1.5 points here and ease your Sunday scaries.

We refuse to bet on the Jets anymore this year. But let’s face it…there is always a week every bettor gets fucked by them. This might be the one. Steer clear!

Bet ya mothers house with ya mother in it - Chargers @ Saints -7.5
The Saints are not losing to the Chargers. I repeat: The Saints are NOT losing to the Chargers. Do what you want here. If you prefer to get cute and tease it to a PK so be it. If you got the discipline to just lay the ML, do you! We are going to buy this down to 6. The Saints and Brees got their mojo back in Detroit last week. The Chargers peaked in their first game with Herbert almost beating the Chiefs. Make no mistake, this dude looks like he’s going to be solid, and they still played very well in Tampa as a touchdown dog. But it’s time for a smack in the face right from kickoff for the Chargers.
